Mohamed Ahmed Salama, president of Al Ittihad Alexandria club, revealed the truth regarding any contacts from Al Ahly or Pyramids FC to sign the team's duo Moamen Awad and Mostafa Ibrahim.
Salama stated via FilGoal.com: "There have been no official or friendly contacts from Al Ahly or Pyramids FC officials regarding signing Moamen Awad and Mostafa Ibrahim. If a contact occurs, we will close the matter for now out of concern for the team's stability."
He continued, "The transfer window is in January, with two months remaining. Discussing such matters currently would distract the players; there is a time for everything."
Moamen Awad plays proficiently as a right-back and has participated in 5 matches since the start of the current season.
Meanwhile, Mostafa Ibrahim plays as a center-back and also participated in 5 matches during the current season.
Al Ittihad Alexandria currently occupies sixth place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 10 points, five points behind league leaders Pyramids FC.
