Zamalek coach Moamen Soliman has decided to enter a closed training camp ahead of the match against Al Ahly in the Egyptian League.
Zamalek is preparing to face its rival Al Ahly in the match scheduled for Matchday 6 of the Egyptian League on October 11.
As FilGoal.com learned, Moamen Soliman has decided to put the team into a five-day closed camp in preparation for the clash with Al Ahly in the Egyptian League summit.
Zamalek currently occupies second place in the Egyptian League standings with 13 points, level with third-placed Al Ahly, but leading on goal difference. Meanwhile, Pyramids FC tops the table with a perfect record of 15 points.
Zamalek is scheduled to play against their rivals Zed in Matchday 1 of the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup on October 7, just before facing Al Ahly.
As FilGoal.com previously reported, there is a strong tendency within Zamalek to field as many youth players as possible, especially from the 2007 squad and the best talents from the 2009 age group, in the Egypt Capital Cup, following the decision to include some of them in first-team training sessions.
Zamalek is placed in Group A alongside Zed, El Gouna, Tala'ea El Gaish, and Smouha SC.
