Zamalek Club received a new registration ban on the evening of Tuesday, August 25.
FIFA announced via its complaints portal that Zamalek's current registration ban is indefinite.
The number of cases involving Zamalek has now reached four.
A source told Lela Kora that this registration ban concerns outstanding payments for the Juan Bezerra transfer deal owed to the Ukrainian club Oleksandria.
The source indicated that the amount of overdue payments totals €200,000 owed to Oleksandria Club.
The source concluded by stating that the registration ban will last for two transfer windows and will be lifted immediately upon payment.
Previously, Zamalek Club had paid overdue amounts totaling €1.2 million to Oleksandria Club regarding the Bezerra deal one month ago.
Bezerra joined Zamalek Club at the beginning of the 2025-2026 season, arriving from Oleksandria Club.
Bezerra has not returned to Zamalek Club since taking his end-of-season leave last year.
A source confirmed in exclusive statements to Lela Kora that Bezerra insists on not coming to Egypt or joining Zamalek Club, noting that communications are underway between the club's management and the player's representatives to hold a Zoom meeting in the coming days to determine the player's future.
Zamalek played their first match of the season in the Premier League against Al-Ittihad Alexandria, ending in a goalless draw, while the team prepares for their second-round match against Al-Ahly Bank.
