Hani Saeed, the sports director of Pyramids Club, revealed granting the international players who participated with the Egyptian national team in the last World Cup tournament additional rest before returning and resuming training with the team in the new season.
Five players from Pyramids participated in the World Cup, four with the Egyptian national team and one player with the Jordanian national team.
Pyramids is currently undergoing its daily training in Cairo under the leadership of the new technical director Rolani Mukena.
This is before undergoing the external preparation camp in Turkey during the period from July 23 of the current month until August 9 next.
Hani Saeed clarified to his club's media center that the Jordanian Awda Fakhoury, as well as Mahmoud Saber returning from loan to Z, will join the team's training at the beginning of the preparation camp in Turkey on July 23.
The trio Mustafa Abdel Raouf "Zico," Mohand Lashin, and Karim Hafez clarified that they will join the Pyramids delegation in Turkey starting from July 29 and will continue with the team until the end of the camp and return to Cairo on the ninth of August.
The duo Zico and Mohand Lashin participated as starters throughout the World Cup, except for Mohand's absence from the match against Australia due to suspension.
While Karim Hafez played as a starter in the round of 16 against Australia and against Argentina in the round of 16.
As for Mahmoud Saber, he played against Iran as a starter and scored a goal, entered as a substitute against Australia, and scored a penalty.
Fakhoury participated in Jordan's three matches in the World Cup.
