And he concluded "Before the eyes of the whole world, the Egyptians passed from here."
Hani participated in all five matches of the Egyptian national team in the World Cup.
The Egyptian national team finished second in the seventh group with 5 points, behind the Belgian national team by goal difference.
In the group stage, the Egyptian national team drew against Belgium and Iran, and won against New Zealand 3-1.
While the Pharaohs achieved victory against Australia in the round of 32 on penalties, before losing to the defending champion Argentina in the round of 16.
Hani created a single goal in the World Cup against New Zealand, after delivering a cross that Mustafa Zico succeeded in converting into the net.
