England national team captain Harry Kane believes that the experiences gained by the Three Lions in major tournaments in recent years make the team more ready to enter the knockout stages, confirming that his country's team has not shown its best levels yet before facing Norway in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

England's national team is preparing to face Norway in the quarter-final round of the World Cup on Sunday morning.
Harry Kane said at the press conference: "In the 2018 World Cup, we were a young team lacking experience when we went to Russia".
He continued, "Now we are entering the tournament after reaching two finals in the last three major tournaments, in addition to a semi-final and a quarter-final in the World Cup, and here we are reaching the quarter-finals again".
He added, "Many players have played big matches and decisive moments, so we have become more prepared to deal with such situations, and we have now reached a stage of the tournament where any small difference or any percentage of decline in concentration could be the difference between qualification and elimination".
He revealed, "I am trying to use the experiences I have gained from major tournaments with the national team and clubs to help my teammates and make them calmer and more confident before tomorrow's match".
He concluded, "In the last two matches, we were the team favored to win because we are the England national team, and everyone was expecting us to achieve victory".
He finished by saying, "I still believe that we have better levels that we can present as a team, and we have not reached them yet in this tournament, and the time has come to show our true potential and give our best".
The England national team qualified for this round after achieving victory against Mexico with three goals to two, while the Norway national team achieved an exciting victory against Brazil with two goals to one.
