The Norwegian national team suffered a 2-1 defeat to England in the quarter-final round of the World Cup.
Haaland said in statements to the media: "Honestly, it's good to start the vacation now after reaching the quarter-finals with the Norwegian national team, I am happy with my life and enjoying this period, and I feel that I am in a good position".
He continued, "It was difficult to absorb everything we went through during the past six weeks, it was a journey full of events, impressions, and emotions, I think this tournament changed Norway, as it changed me personally".
He added, "We are building something special in Norway, and I think we have already reached an important stage, now the real challenge is to maintain what we have achieved, and we have proven that we can beat one of the greatest football powers in the world, which is Brazil".
He revealed, "We lost to England, but we played a strong match, and if some decisions had gone differently, perhaps the result would have been different".
He added, "At this level, the small details are what make the difference, and I know that well, even with my club, everything is decided by details".
Regarding the refereeing decisions, he said: "Usually the better team, which is England in this case, gets such decisions, and this also happens with me in my club, as the details often lean in favor of the better team".
He concluded, "In the end, I feel very proud. I have been proud of this team every day since we qualified, until the end of our journey here in the United States".
Haaland finished the World Cup with 7 goals scored and one assist.
