Desiree Douai, the French national team winger, explained that the classification of the Roosters as the top contenders for the World Cup title does not impose any additional pressure on the players.

The French national team is preparing to face Paraguay in the Round of 16 of the World Cup tomorrow morning, Sunday.
Douai said in the press conference: "We really don't feel any pressure because we are the favorites to win the title, we are only focused on ourselves. We were favorites before the tournament, and we will be tomorrow against Paraguay, but being favorites doesn't win matches."
He continued, "We have to put everything together to win, we must be extremely serious. Defensively, we are very strong, we have excellent midfielders, and the best strikers in the world."
He added, "The coach formed a squad of 26 players, and every player has a role. I am ready, and whenever I get the chance, I give 100% of my effort."
He revealed, "We will need patience and intensity against a tough team like Paraguay. They are a good team, we watched clips of their match against Germany, and they have quality players."
He concluded, "They will be strong defensively, and they received a large number of yellow cards. We must be ready and raise our level."
The French national team qualified for the Round of 16 after overcoming Sweden with three goals to none, while the Paraguayan national team qualified after achieving a surprise victory against Germany on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the match.
