UEFA is holding the draw for the league phase of the UEFA Conference League for the new 2026/27 season on Friday afternoon.
A total of 36 teams participate in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League, with 24 qualifying through preliminary rounds, while 12 teams losing in the Europa League qualifying play-offs drop down to this competition.
The 36 teams are divided into six pots. Each team faces six different opponents, playing three matches at home and three away. A team cannot face another from its own national association, but may face up to two teams from the same country.
The top eight teams qualify directly for the Round of 16, while teams finishing between 9th and 24th enter a playoff round consisting of two-legged ties.
Trabzonspor, featuring Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, has dropped into the UEFA Conference League for the new season after failing to defeat Ferencváros in the Europa League qualifying play-off.
