World Cup - Al-Sisi receives Egypt national team tomorrow

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, announced the date for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to receive the Egyptian national team delegation participating in the World Cup.

The Egyptian national team arrived at Alamein Airport this Friday morning, coming from Atlanta, USA.

The official account of the spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic wrote: "President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive tomorrow the players of the national football team and the technical and administrative staff."

Thousands of Egyptian fans gathered at Alamein Airport to receive the Egyptian national team delegation.

The national team delegation moved from the American city of Atlanta at 11 pm on Thursday, Cairo time.

The Egyptian national team succeeded in qualifying for the round of 16 of the World Cup for the first time in history, before bidding farewell to the tournament against the defending champion Argentina with a score of 3-2.

The Egyptian national team achieved victory for the first time in history in the World Cup against New Zealand 3-1.

The Egyptian national team crossed the group stage for the first time, as well as qualified for the round of 16 in a historic achievement.
