Saudi press reports revealed on Sunday the position of Al-Nasr Club regarding the departure of its Brazilian professional Angelo Gabriel during the current summer transfer period.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat", the option of the Brazilian player's departure is not on the table, given the capital team's need for his services.
Turkish press reports had previously mentioned the desire of the Turkish club Besiktas to contract with Angelo Gabriel, but Al-Nasr's management does not have the option to approve his departure at the present time.
This comes amid the current circumstances within Al-Nasr Club's corridors, due to the file of the ban on deals and the restrictions imposed on registering players, foremost among them the deal for the Portuguese professional Samu Costa, in addition to completing the procedures for renewing Abdulrahman Ghareeb's contract.
The capital club's officials are seeking to speed up the completion of all administrative procedures, whether related to the registration file or contracts, and to enter the new season with a complete squad.
Al-Nasr team is scheduled to begin its journey in the Saudi Roshn League with a match against Al-Fateh on August 15 of this month, in the 2026-2027 season edition.
It is expected that "Al-Alami" will compete in other tournaments in the new season, such as the King's Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League Elite.
