Rivals Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will kick off their 2026/2027 season when they meet tonight, Saturday, in the German Super Cup "Franz Beckenbauer Cup" competition.
Bayern Munich, led by their coach Vincent Kompany, were crowned champions of the German Bundesliga and the Cup, and will face Borussia Dortmund, the Bundesliga runners-up, in today's Super Cup.
Borussia Dortmund will host their rival Bayern Munich at the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium to play today's German Super Cup clash.
Dortmund concluded their pre-season on August 15 with a 2-2 draw against Italian side Roma.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich ended their pre-season with a 3-1 victory over Leipzig, also on August 15.
The German Super Cup match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will kick off at 9:30 PM Egypt and Saudi Arabia time.
