Transfermarkt revealed the latest updates regarding players' market values, highlighting Trabzonspor star Mohamed Salah.

Mohamed Salah is playing his first season in Turkey, having signed with Trabzonspor on a free transfer for a two-year contract until the end of June 2028.

Transfermarkt updated the market values of Turkish Super Lig players, re-evaluating 239 players.

Mohamed Salah's market value saw a significant drop to €17 million, down from €22 million for the right winger.

Transfermarkt wrote about Mohamed Salah and his decrease in market value: "The 34-year-old Mohamed Salah was among the prominent players whose market value dropped to €17 million, after previously being €22 million."

The site confirmed that age played a key role behind the drop in Mohamed Salah's market value, alongside the player's move from playing in the Premier League and Champions League to the Turkish league.

The site added: "Although Mohamed Salah is still playing at a very high level, maintaining players' market value at this age seems difficult, as his transition from the Premier League and Champions League to the Turkish league was one of the factors we considered when making the update."

The market values of other stars in the Turkish league also decreased, such as Mason Greenwood, Fenerbahçe's star, whose value fell to €40 million from €55 million, while Galatasaray winger Rafael Leão is now valued at around €40 million instead of €50 million.

Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray's star, remained the most valuable player in the Turkish league, despite his value dropping from €75 million to €65 million.
