Önder Özin, the sports director of the Turkish club Beşiktaş, spoke about the reality of negotiating with the Serbian international Dušan Vlahović, the striker of the Italian team Juventus.
The Serbian star's contract with the Old Lady ended at the end of last season, and he is now a free agent.

Önder Özin said in statements reported by "Football Italia": "Regarding Vlahović, and since he is a free agent, the matter is in his hands."
He added: "If he prefers to play in one of the top five leagues, Turkey is not among them, and if an opportunity arises for him, we would of course like to evaluate it as a club."
He continued: "He had his best season of his football career with Vincenzo Italiano at Fiorentina, and the coach still talks to him from time to time; Vlahović holds great respect for the coach."
He concluded: "There is no doubt that there is a desire on Vlahović's part to work with him again, but the priority for players is not choosing a coach, but choosing a contract. I expect that Dušan expects a huge contract and a team that competes in the UEFA Champions League."
