Chabab Temouchent will compete in the Algerian first division during the upcoming season after recently being promoted from the second division.
The Algerian club is expected to learn its match schedule next Monday following the local draw for the new season.
The 21-year-old midfielder can also play as a right-back and center-back.
Safaga only featured for a total of 94 minutes across 5 matches in the Petroleum team's jersey.
Safaga was previously loaned to W team in the second half of last season.
Safaga played for Egypt's U-20 national team and contributed to achieving fourth place at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
He appeared in two matches against Japan and Chile at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
