Al-Jari' obtained a conditional presidential pardon on the occasion of Republic Day in Tunisia.
Al-Jari' entered prison in 2023 on the back of cases involving administrative violations and abuse of his powers as president of the Tunisian Federation.
Wadih Al-Jari' assumed the presidency of the Tunisian Football Federation in 2012, and also served as a member of several committees affiliated with the International and African Football Federations.
