Legend Zinedine Zidane officially assumed his position as coach of the French national team on Tuesday, after the announcement was made in a press conference by the French Football Federation.
Zidane became coach of the French national team as a replacement for Didier Deschamps, after the latter spent 14 years as coach of the Roosters.

Zidane will officially begin his responsibilities in August next under a contract valid for 4 years, according to what the president of the French Federation revealed in the press conference.
Date of France's first match with Zidane
The French national team will play its first match under Zidane's leadership in September, specifically on the 25th, where it will face Turkey in the first round of the group stage of the UEFA Nations League.
Later, the French national team will play 3 matches in the same competition against Belgium on September 28, Italy on October 2, then Belgium again on the 5th.
