The French Football Federation announced, moments ago, its official contract with coach Zinedine Zidane as technical director of the French national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps.
Deschamps left coaching the French national team after the end of his journey in the 2026 World Cup tournament, where he lost in the semi-final match and played the third-place match and suffered defeat against England.
The French Football Federation held a press conference in front of the media, on Tuesday afternoon, in order to announce the contract with Zidane.

Zinedine Zidane has become the new coach of the French national team, and it is his first coaching role since his departure from Real Madrid in 2021, as he has been linked since that time with the possibility of coaching the Roosters before the matter turned official today.
The French national team will not play an official match under Zidane's leadership until next September, when it will face Turkey and Belgium in the group stage competitions of the UEFA Nations League.
