The Athletic newspaper revealed the features of the expected lineup for the England national team in the match against Norway, within the quarter-final round of the 2026 World Cup, which witnesses several changes in the "Three Lions" formation.
The newspaper mentioned that Ezri Konsa is preparing to participate basically in the right-back position, in light of the continued recovery of Reece James from injury, while John Stones is expected to occupy the center-back position.
It added that Noni Madueke will start the match in the right-wing position instead of Bukayo Saka, in the most prominent change on the offensive level.
The England national team meets its Norwegian counterpart at exactly 12:00 after midnight on Sunday, at Miami Stadium, within the quarter-final round of the 2026 World Cup tournament.
