Lionel Scaloni, the technical director of the Argentine national team, admitted that his team suffered against Switzerland, in the match that took place today, Sunday, within the World Cup competitions, before affirming the necessity of recovery before facing England.
The Argentine national team defeated its Swiss counterpart (3-1), in the match that took place between the two teams, within the quarter-final competitions of the World Cup, and the encounter was held on the pitch of Kansas City Stadium.

Lionel Scaloni, the technical director of the Argentine national team, began his statements, which he delivered immediately after the Switzerland match, saying: "In reality we suffered and we knew that we would face a physically strong team, the Swiss national team made things very difficult for us and we did not know how to get out of difficult situations".
He added: "Today luck was on our side, as a player from their team was sent off and then we tried to attack, we tried to be realistic, but there are things we must work on correcting and what the team did today is historic, even though it was possible for us to play better".
Scaloni concluded: "Qualifying for the semi-finals and facing England is historic, it does not matter England or Norway, we will face a team that has a wonderful coach, and the most important thing is to recover before the match".
