Jude Bellingham continued his brilliance with the England national team in the 2026 World Cup, after scoring two goals during the ongoing match against Norway in the quarter-final round, to continue writing history in the knockout stages of the World Cup.
Opta network reported that Bellingham, who is 23 years old and 12 days old, became the second youngest player to score two or more goals in two consecutive matches in the knockout stages of the World Cup, behind the Brazilian legend Pelé, who achieved the same feat in the 1958 World Cup at the age of 17 years and 249 days.
The England national team star had also scored two goals in the "Three Lions'" 3-2 victory over Mexico in the round of 16, before repeating the achievement by scoring two goals in the ongoing match against Norway in the quarter-final round.
The two teams are competing for a ticket to qualify for the semi-final round, where the winner of the England and Norway match awaits the qualifier from the Argentina and Switzerland match, scheduled to be held later.
