Press reports revealed that Brazilian international Raphinha, a player for FC Barcelona's first team, has arrived in the Spanish city after leaving the Brazil national team camp.
Raphinha left the Brazil national team camp after the Brazilian Football Confederation announced he had suffered a tumor in his right thigh muscle during Brazil's match against Australia.
Brazil faced Australia in a friendly match, and Ancelotti's squad managed to win by four goals to two.
Raphinha started the match and wore the captain's armband for the Brazil national team due to the absence of Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos.
Raphinha was substituted at halftime as part of Brazil's first changes in the match. Subsequently, the Brazilian Football Confederation announced that Barcelona's captain was replaced due to feeling muscular fatigue.
According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," Raphinha arrived at Barcelona airport amid deliberate calm from both the club and the player to avoid any media stir.
It reported that focus is now on undergoing medical examinations scheduled for Friday, tomorrow, to accurately determine the severity of the injury.
It confirmed there is optimism within Barcelona, hoping the problem will be limited only to the swelling noted by the Brazil national team's medical staff without any surprises.
