Italian club Inter has reached an agreement with English international defender John Stones.

John Stones' journey with Manchester City ended after 10 years with the team.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in transfer news, Inter has completed an agreement with John Stones on a contract until June 2028 with an option to extend for an additional season.
Romano explained that the English international defender will receive 4 million euros annually, and will undergo a medical examination in Milan in the coming period.
Stones was recently linked with a move to Arsenal before Inter appeared strongly in the picture.
The Athletic network previously mentioned that John Stones is at the top of the list of candidates to strengthen the defense of the "Gunners" after the injury of Frenchman William Saliba.
Stones participated with the England national team in the 2026 World Cup and contributed to achieving third place after they defeated France 6-4 in the third-place match.
Stones played 295 matches with Manchester City, scoring 19 goals and assisting 9 others.
