Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has won his first individual award with his new club, Turkish side Trabzonspor, after his second goal against Başakşehir was voted the best goal of Matchday 2 in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The official account of the Turkish league announced that Salah's goal won the fan vote, having received the highest percentage of votes, as the Egypt national team captain continues to garner praise following his strong start with Trabzonspor.
Salah had scored both of Trabzonspor's goals in their 2-1 victory over Başakşehir in the Matchday 2 fixture of the Turkish league, leading his team to their first win of the season in the competition.
The award-winning goal came in the 48th minute, after Salah exchanged passes with his teammate Ernest Muçi before finishing the attack with a precise shot from inside the penalty area that found the back of the Başakşehir net.
This was Salah's second goal of the match, having opened the scoring in the eighth minute.
