Tottenham Hotspur has revealed the shirt number that Omar Marmoush, the star who recently joined Manchester City, will wear during the ongoing summer transfer window.

On Thursday evening, Tottenham officially announced the signing of Omar Marmoush on a one-season loan deal, following their earlier acquisition of his Manchester City teammate, Savinho.

Tottenham Hotspur has announced the shirt number that Egyptian international Omar Marmoush will wear with the team after completing his move from Manchester City, where he previously wore number 7.

Marmoush arrived at the club's headquarters on Thursday evening and was assigned shirt number 22 for his new stint with Tottenham, which is the same number he currently wears with the Egypt national team.

The club clarified that players' shirt numbers remain subject to change until the final squad list is submitted to the Premier League following the closure of the summer transfer window.

Foreign media reports indicate that Marmoush's transfer to Tottenham includes a clause obligating the club to purchase the player's contract at the end of the loan period for £50 million, with the possibility of increasing the deal's value to £60 million based on bonus and incentive clauses.

It is worth noting that Omar Marmoush, aged 27, joined Manchester City in January 2025 from German club Eintracht Frankfurt, having played 62 matches across all official competitions for the team and scoring 16 goals.
