The journey of the Arab national teams participating in the 2026 World Cup, currently held in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico, has ended as of July 19.
The last of the Arab teams to bid farewell to the tournament was the Moroccan national team, which exited in the quarter-finals after losing to the French national team by two goals to nil.
This edition witnessed the participation of the Egyptian national team, which reached the round of 16 before losing to the Argentine national team, the world champion in the last edition, by three goals to two.
Eight Arab teams participated in the 2026 edition, three of which managed to advance past the group stage: Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria.
In contrast, five Arab teams bid farewell to the 2026 World Cup from the group stage: Qatar, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Jordan.
The Moroccan national team tops the list of Arab teams in terms of reward value, thanks to its journey in the tournament, as the "Atlas Lions" team managed to reach the quarter-finals.
In contrast, the Egyptian national team comes in second place, thanks to reaching the round of 16, followed by the Algerian national team in third place after reaching the round of 32.
