Report: Resolving Benin national team crises ahead of friendly match against Argentina

Via FilGoal

The situation has calmed down for the Benin national team following the resolution of logistical issues faced by the delegation after their arrival in Argentina ahead of a friendly match against La Albiceleste.

Benin is preparing to face Argentina next Tuesday in a match that will feature a ceremony marking Lionel Messi's international retirement.

A previous report by the French newspaper "Le Figaro" revealed that Jonas Bedi, Benin's performance analyst, suffered severe dizziness and fainted during the trip to Argentina.

The delegation also faced logistical problems at their hotel upon arrival: hot water outages, equipment malfunctions, unsuitable artificial turf at the training ground, and an undersized gym.

According to "Mega Sport Media," "After initial arrangements following the long journey, things have returned to normal; logistics are now perfect, with hot water available on the fourth floor of the hotel, all preparation equipment delivered, and all logistical aspects ready for operation."

The report stated that "the video analyst is in good health, and all necessary tools are now at the disposal of the technical staff for optimal preparation for this major encounter."

An earlier report from the same site revealed that Benin's trip to Argentina took up to 23 hours, traveling from Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire to Paris in France, and finally to Buenos Aires in Argentina.

The Benin delegation arrived in Argentina four days before the start of the match, unlike the Burkina Faso delegation, which arrived just three hours before kickoff and lost 7-0 to La Albiceleste.

During their stay in the Land of Silver, Benin players attended the Independiente vs. Instituto match in the Argentine league early Saturday morning, which ended with a 4-1 victory for the latter.

The match is expected to kick off next Wednesday at 2:00 AM and will be broadcast exclusively on Kuwait's Chasha channel.
