Manchester City has entered advanced negotiations with Liverpool to sign the Dutch player Cody Gakpo.

Fabrizio Romano, the journalist specializing in transfer news, revealed that negotiations between Manchester City and Liverpool regarding signing Gakpo have reached an advanced stage.
Liverpool agrees to sell the player, but only on the condition of signing his replacement.
Currently, Liverpool is working to finalize the deal for Bradley Barcola, the French player from Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team.
If Liverpool completes the signing of Barcola, they will approve Gakpo's departure to Manchester City.
Manchester City aims to sign Gakpo to strengthen the winger position following the departure of both Omar Marmoush and Savio to Tottenham.
Currently, Manchester City has only two players in the winger position: Jeremy Doku and Antoine Semenyo.
