The report clarified that Al-Ittihad Jeddah is working to strengthen its squad during the current summer transfer window.

The report added that the Saudi team wishes to sign both Boudaoui and Japanese midfielder Ritsu Doan from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The report noted that "The Tigers" are working to finalize both deals before the end of the transfer period in Saudi Arabia on September 6th.

Boudaoui, 26, has appeared in 207 matches for Nice since 2019, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.

Moussa Diaby has become close to leaving Al-Ittihad Jeddah after missing the team's last three matches this season.

On another note, Abdulrahman Al-Aboud left "The Tigers" and transferred to Al-Shabab club after being excluded from the technical staff's plans and not participating in any official match with the team this season.

The decision to release Al-Aboud came as he approached free agency, with only three months remaining on his contract before entering that status.

Therefore, the management preferred to terminate his association with the team and seek another local player to strengthen the winger position.
