Al-Ahly Club revealed on Thursday evening the reason for the absence of Mohamed Magdy Afsha, a player of the first football team, from the match against ZED scheduled for tomorrow as part of the Egyptian Premier League competitions.
Al-Ahly will face ZED tomorrow, Friday, at 8:00 PM Cairo and Saudi time, in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo International Stadium.
Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the team doctor, explained in statements to Al-Ahly's media center that Afsha complained of mild pain in his adductor muscle, and the technical staff preferred not to include him in the collective training session to avoid aggravating the injury.

Afsha performed a series of therapeutic exercises on the sidelines of the team's training session held this afternoon at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira, in preparation for the ZED match.
The Al-Ahly vs. ZED match will be officiated by a refereeing team led by Mohamed Marouf as the main referee, assisted by Mohamed Atef El-Zanary as the first assistant referee and Ahmed Abdullah as the second assistant referee, while Emad El-Aqqad will serve as the fourth official, Hussam Ezab as the VAR referee, assisted by Hany Khairy as the assistant VAR referee.
Al-Ahly had begun their Egyptian Premier League campaign with a victory over Sharqia Enppi by three goals to two, in a match held at Cairo International Stadium during the first round of the tournament.
