Media reports revealed today that Galatasaray has set its sights on signing one of Real Madrid's stars during the summer transfer window, which is still ongoing in Turkey.

The summer transfer window in Turkey is scheduled to close tomorrow, Friday, September 4, while Galatasaray continues its efforts to strengthen its squad in the best possible way, following several strong signings, most notably Rafael Leão from AC Milan.

The newspaper "Tutto Mercato" reported that Galatasaray wishes to sign Eduardo Camavinga, star of Real Madrid, and has submitted an official offer to Los Merengues worth €35 million.

The source added that Real Madrid rejected Galatasaray's offer, as Los Merengues consider it insufficient for a player who is still only 23 years old and under contract until 2029.

The source clarified that Real Madrid is open to selling Camavinga, but only if they receive €70 million for him, while some Premier League clubs are reportedly ready to sign the midfielder for between €50 and €60 million.

Furthermore, the network "madriduniversal" reported that despite doubts surrounding Camavinga's performance level, he remains highly valued by the Spanish club, having stayed with Los Blancos after no attractive offers arrived for him this summer.

It continued, explaining that Real Madrid supported Camavinga during his toughest times, while the player himself demonstrated his determination to remain with the royal club, expressing enthusiasm about working under coach José Mourinho.

It added that Mourinho, for his part, shows strong support for Camavinga, even though the Portuguese manager cannot guarantee the player regular playing time.

The source concluded that Mourinho personally wants to help Camavinga return to his best form and reach his peak potential.
