Moroccan club Renaissance Berkane revealed, on Tuesday, the new technical director of the first football team, to take over the task succeeding the Tunisian Moein Chaabani, during the upcoming period.
Renaissance Berkane Club announced its official contract with coach Pedro Brito (Bubista), to coach the team, with a contract extending for two seasons, after the success of his previous experience with his country's national team, Cape Verde.
Renaissance Berkane explained that this contract came within the framework of continuing the club's sports project, and strengthening its competitive ambitions at the national and continental levels, by relying on technical efficiency and distinguished experience in world football, especially African, while giving opportunities to the emerging talented young players and strengthening their presence.

It is noteworthy that the coach, who is 56 years old, led the Cape Verde national team to reach the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup for the first time in its history, before being eliminated from the tournament by losing to the Argentine national team.
