Al Ahly Club announced today, Tuesday, its signing with the Algerian player Monsef Beqdar, coming from the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, to bolster the team's squad for the new 2026-2027 season.
The official Al Ahly Club page stated via the social media site "Facebook" that Beqdar signed a three-season contract, becoming the team's fourth deal during the current summer transfer window.
The club's statement added that Essam Serag, head of the contracting sector, traveled to Croatia and completed all financial and administrative procedures in coordination with Wael Gomaa, the football director.
"Yalla Koura" had earlier learned that Beqdar's deal will cost Al Ahly's treasury 3 million euros, plus 500 thousand euros payable as variables.
Al Ahly had previously announced the signing of Enppi's duo Aktay Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud, in addition to the Moroccan striker Sofiane Ben Jedida, coming from Olympique Assafi.
It is noted that Al Ahly began its friendly matches with a 5-1 victory over Cairo's Al Nasr.
