Al Ahly club has officially settled its contract with the Algerian star Monsef Bekkar during the current summer transfer window to bolster the first team's attacking line.
Monsef Bekkar signed a three-season contract to become the club's fourth signing during the current summer transfer period, arriving from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
"Yalla Koura" learned earlier that Monsef Bekkar's deal will cost Al Ahly's treasury 3 million euros, in addition to 500 thousand euros to be paid in the form of variables.
Al Ahly had earlier announced the signing of Enppi's duo Aktai Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud, alongside the acquisition of Moroccan striker Sofiane Benjdida, arriving from Olympique Assafi.

Monsef Bekkar is considered the third player of Algerian nationality to join the Al Ahly team, after the duo Amir Saoud and Ahmed Kendoussi.
Amir Saoud was the first Algerian player to represent Al Ahly, after joining the team in 2009 and staying until 2011, before undergoing several experiences inside and outside Egypt.
With Al Ahly, Amir Saoud played only 13 matches (432 minutes) in all competitions, provided one decisive pass and did not score goals, and is currently without a club.
Meanwhile, midfielder Ahmed Kendoussi joined Al Ahly's ranks from Algerian side USM Sétif during the 2023 summer mercato.
Kendoussi participated with the red team in a number of matches before being loaned out to Ceramica Cleopatra, then permanently leaving the team, and currently plays for Swiss side Lugano.
Ahmed Kendoussi played 21 matches for Al Ahly in all competitions (1075 minutes), managed to score two goals and provide 3 decisive passes for his teammates.
The Red Giant is counting on Monsef Bekkar to confirm his strong attacking abilities in order to help the team, which needs a clear striker who can convert chances into goals against opponents.
Monsef Bekkar, aged 25, had moved to Dinamo Zagreb's ranks last summer, arriving from New York City in the United States, and played 42 matches with his Croatian team, scoring 18 goals and assisting 7 others.
