Al Ahly announces Monsef joining by decision to the Spain camp

Al-Ahly Club announced the joining of its Algerian player Monsef Bekkar to the team's camp in Spain, in preparation for the upcoming season.

Al-Ahly Club said in an official statement via its account on the social media site "Facebook": "The Algerian Monsef Bekkar, the first-team football player at the club, joins this evening the external preparation camp currently held in Spain".

It added: "The team's camp will conclude with a match against Barcelona Club at the 'Spotify Camp Nou' stadium on the 19th of this month".

It concluded: "The player's joining comes after the end of the rest granted to him by the technical staff in light of preparations for the new season".

Al-Ahly Club had previously announced its signing of the Algerian player Monsef Bekkar, coming from the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, to bolster the team's ranks for the new 2026-2027 season.

"Yalla Koura" learned earlier that Bekkar's deal will cost Al-Ahly Club's treasury 3 million euros, in addition to 500 thousand euros to be paid in the form of variables.

Al-Ahly also signed the Enppi duo, Oktay Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud, alongside the Moroccan striker Sofiane Benjdida, coming from Olympique Assafi.
