Al-Ahly has reached an agreement with Mustafa Shobeir, the team's goalkeeper, to renew his contract.

FilGoal.com has learned that Al-Ahly agreed with Mustafa Shobeir on a three-season contract renewal.
Excluding the current season, which is the final year of his previous contract with Al-Ahly, Shobeir will remain with the Red Devils until the end of the 2029-2030 season.
Thus, Shobeir becomes the fourth player to renew his contract with Al-Ahly recently, following Imam Ashour, Marwan Atia, and Omar Sayed Moawad.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper has played 72 matches for Al-Ahly, keeping clean sheets in 39 games and conceding 46 goals.
Shobeir led the Egypt national team to qualify for the Round of 16 at the World Cup, where they were eliminated by Argentina after a 3-2 defeat.
Shobeir delivered a strong performance, saving two penalties: one from Iran's Mehdi Taremi during the group stage, and another from Argentina's star Lionel Messi in the Round of 16 match.
