Turkish artist Cengiz Selimoğlu spoke about Mohamed Salah's transfer to Trabzonspor, after talks between the two sides that did not last long.
Mohamed Salah had achieved a historic career with Liverpool and won every possible title, before terminating his contract one year before its end to reach an agreement to join Trabzonspor.
Selimoğlu said in statements published by "Trabz10 TV": "The world is talking about Trabzonspor club and the city of Trabzon".
He added: "Mohamed Salah has 75 million followers, and this is no small matter. Mohamed Salah's followers equal the population of all of Turkey. Bringing him to this city is a huge achievement".

Oğlu directed a final message to Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan: "Because of the Mohamed Salah deal, I would like to extend a great salute of appreciation to the club president for this deal".

Mohamed Salah had resumed his preparations this morning ahead of the Kasimpasa match in the opening round of the Turkish league, and the match will be broadcast on the Qatari "beIN Sports" channel, which announced it would air the Egyptian star's most important matches.
Mohamed Salah's transfer to Trabzonspor had received wide media and fan attention, after his contribution to qualifying the Egyptian national team to the round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup.
