The technical staff of the Egyptian national football team, led by Hossam Hassan, submitted an important request to the Professional Clubs Association, before the Pharaohs enter the upcoming September camp, in preparation for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
It is scheduled for the Egyptian national team camp to begin during the period from September 21 until October 6, according to the announced international break dates.
It was learned by Boutoulat that the technical staff of the Egyptian national team requested playing at least 4 or 5 rounds in the Premier League competition before the start of the Pharaohs' camp in September, in order to prepare the players physically and technically.
It is scheduled that the Egyptian national team will face its counterpart Angola in the first round in Cairo, and then face South Sudan in the second round, in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
It is noted that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations tournament will be held in June and July 2027, in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, with the qualifiers beginning in September and October 2026.
