The statement indicated that the Dutch defender, who participated with his national team in the 2026 World Cup, will join the team’s camp held in Austria after completing administrative procedures and obtaining the necessary permits.

Fenerbahçe confirmed that the signing of Aké is part of the club's plan to strengthen the team with international players with great experience, aiming to compete strongly in local and continental championships in the new season.
