Mundo Deportivo newspaper reported that Barcelona club has sent a clear message to Ferran Torres, amid the rumors surrounding the player's future with the Catalan team in the recent period.
Ferran Torres' future remains unsecured with Barcelona so far, as the player's contract with the Spanish club will end at the conclusion of next season, and no agreement has yet been reached between the two parties regarding renewal.
Ferran Torres received massive praise during the past period, after his brilliance with the Spanish national team at the World Cup and scoring the winning goal in the final against Argentina.
Paris Saint-Germain club is considered one of the most prominent parties interested in acquiring Ferran Torres, whom the Blaugrana do not want to lose for free.

Mundo Deportivo indicated that Ferran Torres enjoys great appreciation from Paris Saint-Germain and their coach Luis Enrique, but the French club has not made any official offer to sign the player.
It added that Ferran Torres is expected to return to Barcelona on August 10 next, following the end of his summer vacation, while the Blaugrana believe that if the player wants to leave, he must speak directly to the Spanish club's management.
Barcelona still considers Ferran Torres an indispensable element in the team's squad and wants to renew the player's contract, although the Blaugrana will have to pay 8 million euros to Manchester City, based on the clauses of Torres' joining the Blaugrana in 2022, while Barcelona plans to complete the renewal of the 26-year-old's contract in September next, after the closure of the summer transfer window, due to reasons related to financial fair play.
Torres has played 207 matches with Barcelona in all competitions, scoring 65 goals during them.
