Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, 34, has joined the Turkish league through Trabzonspor club after signing an official contract last Thursday to begin a new chapter in his professional career.
Mohamed Salah left Liverpool on June 30 last and was linked with more than one destination before settling on Trabzonspor.
Turkish network "61saat" reported that Mohamed Salah's influence and transfer to Trabzonspor is enormous, not only in terms of sales but also with regard to media coverage.
It is known that Qatar's "beIN Sports" network holds the broadcasting rights for the Turkish league, but it airs only a limited number of matches in the Middle East and North Africa regions, unlike in Turkey where it broadcasts all matches domestically.

The network explained that international interest in Trabzonspor has risen noticeably after signing global star Mohamed Salah, with "beIN Sports" expected to broadcast a large portion of the team's Turkish league matches this season live on its international network.
It noted that Trabzonspor matches will also reach football fans in around 40 countries, especially Egypt, Mohamed Salah's homeland.
It added that thanks to Mohamed Salah, Trabzonspor will receive close coverage this season not only in Turkey but in many other countries as well.
It stressed that the growing interest in international broadcasts of Trabzonspor matches, alongside increased activity on the club's social media accounts and ticket and shirt sales, reflects the impact of Mohamed Salah's signing off the pitch.
