Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership between Adidas, WAYUP SPORTS, and the Egyptian Handball Federation, under which Adidas becomes the official sports apparel partner of the federation, in the presence of representatives of the Egyptian Handball Federation, Adidas, and its official local partner WAYUP SPORTS.
The Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed during the signing ceremony that this partnership reflects the state's direction toward strengthening cooperation with the private sector to support the national teams and provide the best capabilities for sports champions, noting that it represents a successful model of integration between state institutions and the private sector, achieving added value for all parties.
Jawhar Nabil added that cooperation with a global sports brand the size of Adidas confirms the distinguished position reached by Egyptian handball at the continental and international levels, and contributes to providing the latest equipment, apparel, and sports gear, supporting the continued achievement of accomplishments and raising the efficiency of the national teams in various forums.

The signing ceremony is the first official event hosted by Adidas inside the Ministry of Youth and Sports, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting and developing Egyptian sports through an effective partnership between the public and private sectors.
The Egyptian Handball Federation continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent sports federations at the African and international levels, after winning ten titles in the African Men's Handball Championship, a record-equaling number, including four consecutive titles, as well as the national team winning the 2019 IHF Men's Youth World Championship title and maintaining its presence among the world's top teams, achieving fourth place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Under this partnership, WAYUP SPORTS will provide Adidas training apparel, footwear, and sports equipment to Egypt's national handball teams, ensuring players receive world-class products during their regional and international participations.
