Santos player Neymar is back in the spotlight again because of his future, as his contract with the Brazilian club is approaching its end, sparking renewed speculation about his fate.
Neymar's current contract with Santos is scheduled to end at the end of the current year, i.e., December 31, 2026.
The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that Neymar is going through a decisive stage with Santos, as his continuation with the team has not been decided yet, while Inter Miami emerges as one of the future destinations for him.
It explained that Neymar's relationship with Santos is troubled again, especially in the recent period, after he arrived at the training center and stayed for a few minutes before leaving without permission, and did not participate in the warm-up session for the main players.
It pointed out that this situation caused a state of discontent within the club's corridors, but the administration did not take any disciplinary decision against him.
It stated that based on that and the approaching end of his contract, hopes are renewed for Neymar's transfer to Inter Miami to reunite once again with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, for the historic MSN trio to return again.
Neymar had previously played with Messi and Suarez at Barcelona between 2014 and 2017, and together they won nine titles, including the Champions League, in addition to two Spanish League titles, and the Spanish King's Cup three times, besides the Spanish and European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
It stressed that there is no agreement at the present time between Neymar and Inter Miami officials, as the door remains open to all possibilities until the player's contract with Santos expires.
