The first half of the Al-Wakrah versus Lusail match ended with Lusail leading by three unanswered goals, amid defensive weaknesses and a poor performance by Hamdi Fathi and his teammates.
Ferrouzi scored the opening goal for Lusail in the 12th minute, followed by Rodrigo who netted the second goal for Lusail against Al-Wakrah from a penalty kick in the 19th minute.
Meanwhile, Zavoshi scored the third goal in the 45+4 minute, ending the first half with Lusail leading by a clean trio of goals, marking a paper defeat for Al-Wakrah.
During the second half, Farhad Zavoshi successfully scored the fourth goal for Lusail and his second against Al-Wakrah in the 57th minute of regular time.
With this result, Lusail's points total rose to 4, placing them fifth in the Qatari League standings, while Al-Wakrah remained stuck at one point, sitting in eleventh place, second from the bottom.
