The UAE and Qatar national teams drew 1-1 in the final round of Group Two at the Gulf Cup.
Al-Muaz Ali gave Qatar the lead in the 33rd minute, but just before the first half ended, Ali Saleh equalized for the UAE in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
With this result, the UAE maintained their position at the top of the group on goal difference ahead of Qatar, who finished second.
Both teams were level on seven points, but the UAE players scored eight goals and conceded only one, while the Qatari players scored four goals and also conceded only one.
In a non-competitive match, the Yemen national team defeated Bahrain 5-2.
Despite Bahrain taking an early lead with a goal, the Yemeni players turned the score around and managed to score four goals, ending the first half 4-1 in favor of Yemen.
Yemen's goals were scored by Nasser Al-Ghuwashi in the 18th minute, Abdulwasia Al-Mutairi in the 31st minute, Rami Ali Al-Wasmani with two goals in the 40th and 90+5th minutes, and Adel Abbas in the 44th minute.
Bahrain's goals were scored by Ali Al-Dosari in the 6th minute and Ali Jaafar Madan in the 67th minute.
Yemen exited the tournament in third place in the group with three points, while Bahrain was eliminated without collecting any points.
