The Elite Referees Camp of the Egyptian Football Association kicked off on Sunday, under the supervision of FIFA.
It features the participation of 35 referees from the Premier League.
The camp runs from October 4 to 8.
The camp includes theoretical lectures and practical and physical training sessions, aiming to elevate the level of referees and develop their capabilities to help them manage international and domestic matches more efficiently.
The camp is headed by Essam Abdel-Fattah, a FIFA technical instructor and chairman of the Referees Committee at the Egyptian Football Association.
He is joined by Malawian international instructor Mark Mazengo, FIFA’s fitness instructor.
The duo emphasized the importance of the camp in developing the Egyptian refereeing system, enhancing referee efficiency, and benefiting from the technical and scientific expertise provided during its activities.
