The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, will participate in a discussion session at the CAF Strategy Conference, scheduled to be held in Cape Verde from October 7 to 9.
This conference will focus on two main pillars: enhancing the development and sustainability of football across Africa, and analyzing the performance of Africa's 10 representatives at the 2026 World Cup, in preparation for achieving greater success at the 2030 World Cup.
Arsène Wenger, Head of Global Football Development at FIFA and former Arsenal manager, will join some of the coaches who were behind the success of African national teams at the 2026 World Cup.
The list of these coaches includes Bubista from Cape Verde, Hossam Hassan from Egypt, and Sébastien Desabre from the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a discussion panel expected to be highly informative during next week's CAF strategy conference.

The CAF strategy conference, which will be held in Cape Verde between October 7 and 9, will bring together coaches from the 54 member associations in Africa and football legends under one roof to discuss ways to develop football in Africa.
Hossam Hassan, the former Egyptian striker who now leads his country's senior national team, guided the Pharaohs to their first-ever World Cup victory and played an instrumental role in their journey, which included a thrilling match against Argentina, where they led by two goals until the late stages of the game.
