Coach Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, has decided to make some changes to the Pharaohs' lineup ahead of the upcoming friendly match against South Africa, in preparation for future challenges.

The Egyptian national team is set to face its South African counterpart tomorrow, Sunday, as part of preparatory friendly matches during the international break, ahead of upcoming competitions.

Kareem Hafez to replace Fattouh in the national team

Yalla Kora learned that Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, is considering relying on Kareem Hafez at left-back during the Pharaohs' match against South Africa, instead of Ahmed Fattouh, who recently suffered an injury.

The coaching staff's consideration of playing Kareem Hafez at left-back stems from fears that Fattouh's injury could worsen, and a desire to protect him, especially given his club's schedule of several tough matches following the international break.

Ahmed Fattouh sustained a thigh bruise during Egypt's match against South Sudan, which was held at the latter's stadium in Juba, prompting the coaching staff to consider not fielding him in the friendly against South Africa.

Hossam Hassan will hold a meeting with his assistant coaches before the final training session to determine the starting lineup for the match scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at Cairo International Stadium.
