Haitham Orabi, the former contracts manager at Al-Ahly Club, revealed the reason for his departure from his position at the Red Castle.

Orabi said on ON Channel: "Hossam Ghaly and Mohamed Fadl refused my presence to work at Al-Ahly after a meeting held between me and Captain Khatib at his home. I had already started my duties and received some files, but both of them believed that I 'would not succeed' and rejected my presence alongside them."

He continued: "I was later informed that all three of us would depart in order to preserve the stability of Al-Ahly Club."

He added: "Essam Siraj is the legitimate successor to Captain Adly El-Qieei. Al-Ahly's transfers are good; we were only lacking a defender, and I am very optimistic about the new signing of Ben."

He continued: "Ahmed El-Sheikh, before joining Al-Ahly, had signed with Zamalek months earlier. I completed four or five transfers for Al-Ahly that Zamalek had been involved in, including Evouna and Ahmed Hegazi."

He concluded: "Kahraba signed with Al-Ahly at my home before joining Zamalek. I promised him that if the technical committee did not approve his joining Al-Ahly, I would return the contracts to him, and we fulfilled our promise to him."
