Tamer El-Nahas, a players' agent, stated that the crisis surrounding Imam Ashour, Al Ahly midfielder, regarding his contract renewal with the club's management is due to Ahmed Sayed Zizo, emphasizing that his departure from the Red Castle would be the optimal solution.
Tamer El-Nahas said in statements via "On Sport" channel: "Yasser Ibrahim, I will greatly excuse him because he is older and received an offer from the Saudi League after the World Cup (he must be distracted). If he continues with Al Ahly, he must be significantly appeased, although he does not deserve it given his age and position on the field."

He added: "I previously said that if Imam Ashour, Zizo, and Trezeguet leave Al Ahly, the club's crisis will end, and Imam's problem will be solved. However, as long as Zizo remains, Imam's problem will not be resolved; either you financially appease him or do without him."
He concluded: "The information I have is that Imam Ashour was offered 50 or 60 million to renew with Al Ahly, but the player refused. I feel he will not be appeased. Note that selling him would be a good solution, but if he stays at Al Ahly, neither his mentality nor those around him will accept anything less than what Zizo received."
